IT Leadership Development Training Overview

This 3-day training offered by Turning Point Coaching focuses on developing leadership skills for people in Information Technology (IT). Our training is specifically designed to improve and develop leaders in IT organizations where, historically, the best technical people are often promoted to leadership positions without the proper background or training to handle their new responsibilities. Participants will learn skills to improve relationships within IT and with business partners. Participants identify their leadership strengths, identify improvement areas and design their own personal development plans. Through self-evaluation of their leadership performance, participants identify areas impeding their leadership development and create break-through plans to address these. All participants develop mission statements, identify their core values and learn to give / receive feedback. Accountability partners are established to create longer-term accountability for the commitments created during this training.

Our training uses discussions and experiential exercises to facilitate participant learning.  Our training curriculum is customizable for organizations.
